On both Platinum and Classic, a 28-day grace period is included along with easy-to-manage 24-hour online access to your account. Automatic payments and instant issue customized cards are available.

How can I qualify for a credit card?
It is based on your overall credit worthiness and your ability to repay the debt.

How do I activate my card?
Prior to using your card, you must call 866-875-6807 to activate it. The call must come from within the U.S. If you have questions, please contact member services at 907-459-5900 during Spirit of Alaska business hours.

What is the annual fee for the credit card?

Is there a way to waive the annual fee on the credit card?
Yes, simply open a checking account here at Spirit.

Can I skip a payment on this credit card?
No, Skip-a-Pay is not available for this card.

What do I do if I lose a card?
Contact our call center during business hours at 907-459-5900. Our business hours are 10-6 M-F; 10-4 Sat. After hours, call 1-866-875-6807.

The numbers on my credit or debit card are flat. Is my card usable?
Yes! Spirit of Alaska provides Instant Issue, un-embossed credit and debit cards as a convenience to our members. Visa un-embossed cards are accepted by most Visa merchants.

When is my payment due?
The credit card has a 28-day grace period, so your payment will be due 28 days from the statement date.

When should I receive my statement?
Spirit of Alaska’s statement vendor generally mails your statement the first week of every month. If you have elected to receive e-statements, we will email you a notification in the first week of the month that your statement is available in Home Connect.

How can I access my credit card online?
You need be signed up for Spirit of Alaska’s online banking service, e-Teller.

Can I choose my own PIN?
Yes. Bring your credit card into one of our branches and we can help you customize your PIN.

How do I transfer a balance with my credit card?
Please bring the statement of the card you wish to payoff into the Consumer Lending department at Gillam. Lending personnel can assist in making the transfer for you.
